Pros

Working at some of the city's most popular resorts is exciting. The company offers full health/dental/vision/401K benefits with supplemental coverages as well.

Cons

Company has a reputation of laying-off its older work force. This company hires workers they claim based solely on attitude; they believe they can teach you everything else you need to know. This is all well and good, unless you are the customer, and am expecting to deal with a professional with years of experience. This company focuses on hiring younger employees versus those that are 40 and over--not a very diverse company.

Pros

If you can program this is place for you. Benefits are competitive (not including salary)

Cons

The business model is very flawed; automate processes and keep staff low. Senior management expects lower leveled employees to work an immense amount of hours for low pay compensation (lower 10th percentile in Nevada). Due to the business model of automation and keep staff low sets a very stressful tone to the work environment since management is looking to cut down staff in any areas after process improvements while straining other employees to take on the extra work left by the staff cuts. High volume of work and less staff equates to longer hours. Also with this business model opportunity for growth is very limited if not it’s non-existent. Another con is some senior management are not qualified to be managers and tends to micromanage staff causing morale in groups to go down and ultimately leading to high turnover. Management inexperience of the staff is very visible.

Pros

None at the time of resignation.

Cons

Poor Sr. Management team - only out to protect themselves, blame lower level staff for their incompetence. Work you VERY long hours and you will NEVER get any appreciation or a thank you in return. Sr. Management will take your work and call it their own. No room for career advancement - only those who will suck up and kiss a$$ will ever get promoted, even if unqualified. Absolutely no work-life balance nor do they seem to care - staff is stressed and were leaving by the dozens when I left 2012.
