What a great place to work! Employee relations are professional and collegial. Management is supportive. Educational opportunities abound. Teleworking opportunities. Management goes out of it's way to support the mission of helping low income members and families get the health care that they need.

Pros

The mission is everything - be a part of helping under-served populations is rewarding. Co-workers are, for the most part, a wonderful group of people. Great Benefits.

Cons

Rapid growth and organizational change tend to expose the cracks in any organization - CalOptima is no exception. Compensation seemed a bit low, but benefits made up for some of that.
