Pros

Surrounded by friendly coworkers who often become like family. Loads of experience licensed professional engineers around always willing to take time to pass along their technical knowledge. Being a consulting firm, there's always a new site or problem to work on which keeps things exciting and challenging. Flexible work schedule, nice being able to shift around your work hours during the day.

Cons

Long hours sometimes, but you do get paid for every hour you work. Project travel can sometimes complicate personal schedules.

From day one, I was impressed by the team's depth of expertise, commitment to quality, and dedication to client satisfaction. The company culture is one that truly values its employees. The management team is supportive, approachable, and always willing to listen to new ideas. There's a sense of camaraderie among the staff, and everyone is encouraged to collaborate and share their knowledge and expertise. This creates a dynamic and exciting work environment where I feel valued and respected. The company also prioritizes ongoing professional development and training for its employees. There are regular opportunities to attend conferences and workshops, and the team is encouraged to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field. This focus on continuous learning ensures that we're always providing our clients with the most innovative and effective solutions. What I appreciate most about working at this company is the variety of projects we get to work on. Every day is different, and there's always a new challenge to tackle. It's incredibly rewarding to see our work making a difference in the mining industry and to know that we're helping to keep people safe and the environment protected. In summary, I highly recommend Call & Nicholas, it is a great place to work. The group is supportive, collaborative, and committed to excellence, and the work is challenging and rewarding. I'm proud to be a part of this organization and excited about what the future holds.

Cons

Workload can be demanding: As with any consulting job, the workload can be demanding at times. Tight deadlines and complex projects can lead to long hours. Still with the workload it is a low stress environment.
