My experience at Cambia took an absolute nose dive in the last couple of years. Leadership was brought in that orchestrated massive re-organizations with little to no change management, leading to absolute chaos on smaller teams. Positions and teams were eliminated with little explanation or planning for how to move forward. Additionally, when people quit in large numbers, positions were not backfilled. I sat on many calls with people from all over the organization who expressed frustration at the rock bottom state of the company morale. At this same time, select people were seemingly hand-selected for promotions that came with title changes and pay bumps, due solely to their current positions and not an actual evaluation of their skills. I had been an exemplary employee during my time at Cambia; my reviews and raises bear this out. However, in my last year at Cambia, I applied for half a dozen internal jobs that I was qualified for and didn't receive any of them. After sitting through multiple conversations about how Cambia promotes from within and hearing constantly that the company wants to foster a culture of good talent, this was the last straw for me.
