Pros

Salary is good - for local market. Company Car Representing a unique product in the industry

Cons

You'll never see a review or raise. They use the GPS, on company car, to closely monitor your every move. They will accuse you of not working if you are not in the field all day. Terrible reputation for being arrogant in the way they treat their direct customers and especially with their employees. Expecting sales reps to spend over 2K a month entertaining yet not paying for their own personal hotel room on business trips. Instead we are forced to share rooms with other sales reps we do not know. On said business trips, being forced to stay out drinking until owner wants to send bus to take you back to hotel. Also forced to play golf at all business trips. All things done with owners preference in mind - not to the employees that work hard for company. Management that is inept and a company culture that is all about control and making sure they keep you inside a box. There are so many cons to this company that it is appalling!

Just don't do it

Pros

Work for a premium company that prides itself on delivering a premium product

Cons

Promises not kept for promotions, raises, equipment (or just replacement on the scale of years) etc. This spring of 2019 managers went through and did reviews and raises were addressed with "we'll see what we can do" - and now in fall 2019 we just get uncomfortable laughs when the question comes up again. Very secretive working environment - but not in a way that protects trade secrets, just a culture of "why would you need to know that?" - very discouraging working environment.

A disappointingly degrading experience

Pros

Compensation and overtime opportunities for hourly workers. Welcoming and exciting initiation process. Free high-quality company swag. Lots of provided lunches, free food and drink, and opportunities to network with others in the company Luxurious working environment The opportunity to wear many hats and add a lot of responsibilities to your resume.

Cons

Little to no opportunity for promotion or role changes. High turnovers. I was constantly hearing about people quitting or being let go. I was told I didn't have access to benefits as a full-time employee for my first year there. My hours worked were altered at times and I wasn't always paid for my overtime work. I was told I would not be receiving any compensation or assistance for a crime committed against me (not by a Cambria employee) on company property during my shift. I was told I'd be taking on extra responsibilities with no extra pay and was told I couldn't add those responsibilities to my resume. Expect to work on weekends, into the middle of the night, etc. At one point in the middle of the night, I was told "Clock out right now. Your next shift is in 7 hours." A company culture full of gossip and bad-mouthing. I was constantly hearing about the goings on of people's personal lives, and felt I couldn't share anything about myself with anyone for fear that rumors would spread. I was made to get into a car with an intoxicated driver to do an errand for clients. It's completely normal to see your fellow employees cry or fight with each other for one reason or another.
