Pros

The product is really beautiful...

Cons

Management is a mess. There is no training on how to actually lead so they default to intimidation. People get promoted based on their relation to the Davis family, not talent. You can't actually make any decisions on your own- you just send it out for approval from leadership- to then get it sent back with a million corrections. If you are looking for a place to be creative- this is not for you. Everyone is miserable and wants to leave- its a very toxic environment. PTO is scarce- and even when you are on vacation you're not allowed to put an out of office message so the expectation is that you will still be answering your phone and email. You will be at your desk until 5 every day- to only then go home and work more. You will get no thank you for your work- it's just expected. Retention is low and hopefully, the increase in people leaving will make managers wake up and realize something needs to change.

Pros

There aren't many Pros for this company. You just try and survive working there. Coworkers help because most of the people are cool. Some flexibility of your work schedule.

Cons

If you work at Cambria say goodbye to a few things. 1) Family. You will not see them much because you have to work a lot. And when you aren't working they will ask you to work on your days off. 2) Friends. Once you start working at Cambria you have no time for fun frivolous stuff anymore, you are a dedicated robot to the Cambria machine and you have to be ready at a moments notice to work. "Sorry friends I have to work so I can't do anything fun. Ever." 3) Any kind of a life. You won't have time on your days off to go anywhere or do anything because you will be exhausted from work. On your days off all you will want to do is sleep because you haven't slept for probably 3 days. Some other problems with Cambria would include upper management who govern their people with fear and make you so afraid that you messed up that everyone will turn on each other if something goes wrong. The highest turn over rate I have ever seen in a company. People will work a couple of days then never comeback. Benefits are a joke, they don't want to even give health insurance but they have to, but that doesn't mean it has to be good insurance. They cancel your health insurance your last day working for them so they don't have to insure you anymore.

Pros

Decent intern program. Free soda and coffee in the kitchens.

Cons

Weird rules for educated and talented folks. Can't hang your coat on the back of your chair, no walking on the grass, no jeans (unless you are a part of the creative team) and butts in the office is more important than employee satisfaction. Come on, we are all adults! You better not have an idea - because no one will listen. If it makes it through, it won't matter because someone outside of the strategy will want to change it because they don't agree. Giant waste of time. The skills of many of the departments are so lacking and out of date because bad employees are kept around, and don't have outside experience. We make it a point to tell the interns that "this isn't normal" so they are prepared for jobs at other companies.
