Pros

Steady work, good place to start and get training. They seem to like it because they are in there 20's. When they grow up and realize they have no insurance Cambria will have to start over with untrained uncaring people.

Cons

As a mother I will push my son as hard as I can in another direction before he is 26 to find a company that has better insurance and a livable wage. Not poor insurance that is expensive. And not good insurance that they take from a good wage. It's my job. As it was Mr Davis job to take care of his children.

Cambria offers a competitive pay and benefits program for our employees. These benefits include a matching 401k, family health insurance, Flexible Spending Account, Holidays and paid time off. We compete for the very best talent in the marketplace and do so with a comprehensive compensation and benefits package. Before accepting an offer of employment employees are made aware of their compensation and benefits and can always chose not to work at Cambria if this doesn’t meet their standard.

Pros

Family owned, American made. The story, the brand and the people you get to work along side with each day. Cambria challenges you to grow. Local philanthropy initiatives celebrated and supported. I give it two stars for a career experience booster, everyone seems to get a better job after Cambria.

Cons

I wish I could say lot more positive things about Cambria as an organization. I have been a long standing employee myself. I believe in the brand and product. As a product and brand it is one of the biggest success stories in business. However, as a company that stands to be able to now compete in the big leagues, they are slowly throwing it away…. The last few years, the leadership team at Cambria has completely taken a good brand and product and has selfishly begun to run it into the ground. I have watched tenured employees who have given their life to the company fall to exhaustion, quit, be forced out and be fired. Cambria's leadership team is single handedly one of the worst group of managers and leadership members I have witnessed. Making a large salary, leasing by fear and holding enlarged egos, a few specific leadership individuals welcome the opportunity to sit back, stereotype, laugh and cut down employees every chance they get. When you have this as the right hand group and decision makers to the CEO, things are bound to go down hill. Work life balance is off, vacation is less than none and you are lucky if you even get approved to take all of the few days you have. Reviews do not exist, raises come every 3 - 4 years if you fight for it. After 10 years you get 3 weeks of vacation but I think there are only a handful of people in the organization that have made it that far.

Pros

I worked in IT with a great group of people who were really trying to improve the company. The pay was good.

Cons

The benefits were mediocre at best. Management outside of IT is known to be volatile and difficult to work with, and the company is run like a small business under the micro-management of the CEO. IT was going well, but the upper IT management and 1/4 of the department just got gutted because of poor company performance. No warning, no real severance or appreciation for a job well done.

Recent changes to Cambria's IT department were driven by inadequate individual performance. This appears to have impacted you. Cambria's IT department is 61 strong and growing due to recent record sales months. Some of our highest performers were recently rewarded with salary increases. Our high performance and high accountability culture fuels our successful continuous growth and sales numbers. Our culture is not a fit for every resource. We wish you and other former employees all of the best in your future endeavors.
