I work in an amazing department, everyone is very kind and collaborative and supportive.

Cons

leadership has ceased all communication with the rest of the company about the state of the enterprise, spending has slowed to almost nothing, and almost everyone I work with has been waiting for upwards of 8 months for a raise. We have no clue how the company is doing and people have been getting laid off left, right, and center for a few months; many more have quit. We used to have town halls, but we haven't received any mass communication from the c suit in close to a year.

The culture was really difficult. There’s a general lack of respect within leadership that felt abusive. They don’t treat employees with respect and push boundaries on many levels, blame others, and twist words. The environment is high stress, low transparency, and overall lacks communication. There was also extremely high turnover.

Not enough training. They make you feel like you are a pariah within the community, and you have to be part of the sea of sameness and drink the Cambria Gatorade. Training is more about the company history and not the actual position you are working for. Management is afraid of getting in trouble instead of doing the right thing.
