Pros

There's some great people in each department to work with which really gives the place a family atmosphere to some degree. Additionally, some of the managers really have their department employee's best interest in mind.

Cons

There's a big issue with conflicts of interest and undeserved promotions. These issues stem primarily from a certain group who grant unethical favoritism towards friends and family members. The issue is well known by most but goes untreated due to the influence of the group. Also, depending on your department, advancement in position can be way below years experience protocol within the industry. Again however, depending on your connection to the "group", you may be able to fly through the ranks.

Pros

Cameron has outstanding brand name recognition, and truly can be a great place to work. They promote safetty above everything else and mean it.

Cons

The V&M Marketing and Technology team is a joke. I don't know what i'm doing, and neither does my boss. No time to study the market, just tell the bosses what they want to hear.

Pros

I started my career with Cameron, and over the past few years I have seen it transition from a bespoke project minded organization, to a collaborative, innovative company with a long term vision of our industry. This is in no small part due to restructuring of the organization that has resulted in a strong management team.

Cons

Compensation is somewhat below average for the industry, leading to some issues with recruitment and retention of talented employees.
