company has 6 months of probation unlike most companies where it is 3 months.. they tell you things are going well then fire you 2 weeks before completing your 6 month probation.

Some departments really need to hire professionals. It's one thing to learn how to complete the tasks of a job and another to understand the fundamentals of a job. Many people have been there for a very long time and the company has grown exponentially since their hire. They were able to fake it when the company was smaller, but it's starting to become apparent when people don't actually understand the position they are currently holding and it's role within an organization. There is a lack of education in many roles and they would benefit from continuing education and continued training.
