Not really a Canadian company, really a Chinese company

Pros

- Solar is great for the planet - Chance to work with colleagues all over the world - I worked with some great people - Nice office space in Walnut Creek, CA (pre-pandemic) - Benefits are generally good

Cons

- Most important decisions are made at headquarters, which means China - Lots of turnover recently - Salaries are uneven but generally low - Solar industry is notoriously cyclical (they call it the "solar coaster")

-Nice people to work with. -Good modules. -Management does what they can to keep you happy and are kind, but their hands are bound by HQ

Cons

-HQ management from China pushes all decisions -No way to advance job title other than company adding 'Senior' to your title -Zero pay increases in 3 years -One bonus in 3 years -Management pitched my product design to CEO without including me -Conservatives approach to everything pushes you down -Company layoffs when they should be hiring
