Pros

They do a lot of work so you have a chance to bounce around to find the type of work you are interested in (within reason).

Cons

It’s a top-heavy corporate firm, so there are a lot of higher up people that make good money, based on years with CannonDesign, but they can’t turn a computer on. I spent hundreds of hours translating hand drawn redlines and updating construction documents when all of that time and money could be saved if the first person just knew how to use modern technology. “I don’t do Revit” was a common response from these people.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're bummed to hear you felt frustrated by some of your colleagues' lack of proficiency with technology. We strive to maintain a culture of continuous learning and growth, and feedback like this is important to our growth. While expertise in Revit is important for certain roles, it's not the only skill that's necessary to design and deliver projects. Every project team member plays an important role, and these roles vary widely depending on the project's needs. That being said, we acknowledge the importance of staying current with technology and investing in our employees' professional development to ensure that everyone is able to contribute effectively. We have robust training programs in place to ensure those who need to use Revit use it to its highest capabilities. Thank you again for your feedback. We appreciate your candidness, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

You'll learn a lot; because they are understaffed

Cons

-Don't have enough technical resources to support employees -No one really wants to work; when you ask a question, everyone points the -finger at someone else for an answer -Projects are not adequately staffed -Change takes forever

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. It’s important for us to hear what we’re doing well and what we need to improve. Since you’re a current employee, we urge you to have a conversation with your supervisor, office leader or HR business partner about these issues. We can develop solutions to all the issues you mention if we’re given the opportunity. And please know that we are actively and continually hiring teammates across the firm to step into our open roles, including interior design. Thank you for all that you do, and again, we’d appreciate the opportunity to learn more about these issues so we can address them.

Pros

Plenty of kind and talented people, the occasional cool project.

Cons

High turnover rate Prepare yourself to work long hours consistently, you will put in 12+ hour days because there is not enough staff to handle the current volume of work. Upper management expects you to have a "do whatever it takes" attitude and produce amazing work with no time. Deadlines are brutal. They don't care. Rampant politics, promotions and raises are primarily given to those who align themselves with the right people. If you are rude and antagonize people you will go far here. Office leadership does not communicate and will even mislead you to avoid a difficult conversation.
