Pros

Actually got the interview. Felt my skill set was a match

Cons

Never was contacted by HR. Interviewed for position to lead service team on client's site. E-mail I received was from the Canon manager but came with the site companies e-mail tag. Didn't even know until some research what company I was contacted by. HR passed it along to site managers who were not trained in interview skills. I have been on both sides of the interview desk and their lack of interest and training showed. They spent most of the time talking about the role and did not really do anything to determine how my skill set matched. On the plus side it gave me the opportunity to tell them only what I wanted them to know.

Pros

Choice of half hour or hour for lunch. Weekends off.

Cons

Could literally write a novel of reasons. Pay is laughable for how much they pile on your plate. It’s very questionable how the Manager at this location got the position, has zero managerial skills and ethics. Very difficult and unreasonable to work for. Will remain a constant revolving door until reprimanded “if that ever happens”, also has a handful of minions to conspire against other employees.HR does little to nothing for concerns brought forth. No appreciation, lowest morale I ever witnessed in a work setting, overworked and undervalued. Merit increase is peanuts. PTO is one week for the entire year and sick time is incorporated into that. Micromanaged until you give up.

Pros

CBPS is committed to diversity and inclusion and strives to make the workplace environment a positive one. The management team is supportive and understanding. CBPS is senior-friendly because I am an older worker and nearing retirement age. They treat older workers with dignity and respect. I can't say that for most of the other companies that I have worked for. CBPS has a top-notch in-house training department and emphasizes continued self-improvement and learning.

Cons

CBPS does not pay a living wage or even a competitive wage for my geographical location which is a medium-sized progressive metropolitan area. Raises, if you are fortunate enough to receive one, are minuscule at best. Parking may not be included in your compensation if you are a site employee at a particular location but field support reps can receive reimbursement for parking if you are called in to cover for someone that is absent. There's little to no room for advancement.
