Pros

If you can deal with the BS, you get a pay check ...

Cons

TOXIC !!!! This company cares very little about treating humans in a kind, dignified and respectful manner. Absolutely no career development. Employees that get promoted to management tend to be introverts that have the worst people skills ever. Constant harassment by managers prevent you from actually getting your work done. Management is very antagonistic. The company definitely play favorites and caters/favors certain types of people (read in between the lines). Hypocrisy is very prevalent amongst management. HR is is tasked to generate and fabricate fake issues against the employees and then document them so that the company will have some fodder against you. Very low morale with most employees who do not have "favored status". Canon is absolutely way behind the times, the management style is arcane. Non forwarded thinking. Management by fear and intimidation. NON-INNOVATIVE.

Pros

Well known brand can be a resume builder.

Cons

It's totally out of touch with the modern ways of doing business. Senior management is made up of people who have never worked anywhere else and are stuck in the fax machine days. All the systems are out of date and it takes ages to get anything accomplished. Employees are also treated like school kids. There is no trust, no freedom, no opportunity to innovate. Promotions are given based on time spent with the company, basically you have to do your time in the prison to move up. The place lacks smart people. It's a very stale, corporate environment stuck in the 90's. The camera business is extinct and so is printing, the company is way too slow to pivot into something modern.
