A good loan product, some decent folks, but that’s where it ends.

Cons

Please look past all the positive reviews and consider one thing about this company. Retention. CapCenter’s is frighteningly bad. During the two-year period of historically low interest rates, CapCenter hired hundreds of new employees. Nearly 40% left of their own free will - within one year. When you take a new job, don’t you plan to stay at least a year? That’s not even taking into consideration the high turnover of folks who’ve been there longer than a year. This company’s abysmal retention should tell you all you need to know. In addition to the many people choosing to leave voluntarily, CapCenter grew too quickly when rates were low and is now having to greatly reduce its workforce. This RIF is increasing an already incredibly low morale for those who remain. I would beware before you consider employment here. It is not a good place to work, and people leave. Lots of them.

Our 1st year turnover is 25% which is lower than the national average and our industry average, but I wholeheartedly agree with you on how important retention is - I would love to reduce that to single digits.
