Pros

Really enjoy everyone I've met at CapTech. They are supportive and provide a good work life balance. You also have the opportunity to work on projects at various different fortune 500 companies which can be a great learning experience.

Cons

They pay their employees a consultant salary, not a software engineer salary. This means you will be 'in tech' but you won't be making the money that anyone expects a tech job to make. Also, while many people at CapTech have the freedom to move around between projects, if you are unlucky enough to be placed on a 'staff aug' project and you are good at your job, its easy to end up stuck on the same account for 2-3 years.

Thank you for your review. We have a wealth of talent here at CapTech and the smart and dedicated people that make up our company have built a great culture here. Our people truly embody our core values. We are consistently evaluating compensation to attract the best consultants in the tech field and have built a benefits package to support their lives in multiple ways. If you have thoughts or questions about comp, I invite you to chat with me directly so we can talk through your ideas. -Katy Apostolides, Managing Director - HR

Pros

Flexibility, comp/benefits, work life balance, upward mobility, intellectual curiosity, culture

Cons

Servant leadership core value is not always the case, however most times it checks out. CapTech takes care of it's loyal employees, so the pros outweigh the cons, just have to stick it out until you find the right account/team/network within the company.

We appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us. We are fortunate to have outstanding colleagues here at CapTech. It is unfortunate to hear that you felt a lack of transparency from Leadership when that is the opposite of our approach to information. I invite you to reach out to me directly so I can learn more about situations where you felt you needed more information or clarity. -Katy Apostolides, Managing Director - HR
