Thank you for taking the time to provide this review. Thank you, as well, for your commitment to CapTech and our clients. Speaking of intellectually curious and driven consultants, as you know, we are super excited to be able to continue the intern program this year and can’t wait to see the results of their COVID-19-inspired project later this month. On the career front, you bring up a great point. Many CapTechers are here because they have control over their career, but it is a learning process to take the initiative and manage it well. Therefore, strengthening and clarifying our career pathing process is one of our top initiatives this year. Your CapTech experience and feedback on this topic is especially appreciated. Please reach out to me directly if you would be comfortable discussing further. –Katy Apostolides, HR Director

Pros

In short, CapTech has a better vibe than other firms. Yes, vibe. In my experience with the consulting industry, all of the top rated firms do a good job establishing a company structure that lends itself to great culture. What I think separates CapTech is it’s focus on the core values, especially during the hiring/selection process. For example, CapTech may pass on hiring a genius consultant if that individual doesn’t mesh with CapTech’s values. Unlike other firms that may send an email about it twice a year, CapTech constantly (bordering aggressively) talks about its core values. So if you’re considering this firm, take a long look that the core values beforehand. If they resonate, you’ll probably love it. If not, you’ll probably hate the vibe.

Cons

The company it still learning to handle large scale projects. The expertise and positive attitude are abundant, but the coordination across disparate teams needs to continue to improve.

Thank you for posting a review. Your perspective is very valuable, as it sounds like you came to CapTech after spending time with other consulting firm(s). CapTech was founded on the principle of providing a better work-life balance for consultants who love what they do, but also want time for family, friends, their local community, and themselves. Our core values are the measure of who we are, and we definitely look to hire employees who align with those same values. Thank you for your advice regarding large-scale transformational projects. We always want to refine and improve. This is valuable feedback. Thank you. --Katy Apostolides, HR Director
