Pros

Exciting, challenging, and rewarding projects, and good job security. Good overal pay and good work life balance compared to other consulting companies. Capco has had little to no lay offs in the 10 years that I have worked there. Most importantly a family-oriented clture where you can express your concerns and make good friends. I have made some best friends during my time at Capco; this is worth more to me to any salary increase.

Cons

More transparency and fairness on sales credit allocations across various accounts so that the ones who do most of the work and build the client connections on a daily basis are rewarded. Senior management is working on this, and it has improved over the years, but there is still room for improvement here. Also, develop a different community grading scale that values individuals who put make more overal inpact to internal contributions for the firm and not just do several one-off activities.

Pros

Opportunity to meet lots of people and build your network within the FS industry Build skillset and confidence with the exposure to different projects Good place to get started if interested in working in financial services.

Cons

Performance roundtable are seriously flawed and no one cares. You truly have to know the 'right' people or at least have those with the loudest voice in the room, advocating for you. Very slow to progress the agenda for supporting minority groups into leadership positions. The response is that it should be based on 'merit' which I agree with but with a flawed performance roundtable how do you achieve that. So much talent has walked out those offices for this very reason

Thank you for your feedback and positive comments. Our roundtables provide a forum for the fair assessment of all employees, and these are moderated by experienced HR and business leaders to ensure that everyone receives a rating based on their performance using the competency framework and with input from multiple stakeholders. We have also set out aspirational hiring and progression targets to further advance diverse representation at the firm which can be viewed here. We are proud to say that we are on track to meet, or in some instances, to surpass these targets for diversity in regards to our workforce composition and senior leadership. We have five global Affinity Groups which are employee-led, firm-supported teams focused on employee engagement, and promoting awareness and inclusion around gender, race, ethnicity, disability, neurodiversity, veterans, parents or other shared backgrounds. The Groups create an environment for people to connect, engage, educate, inspire, and celebrate each other. They also work within the firm to help recruit, mentor, and support the progression of diverse talent. Any Capco employee can be a member of any Affinity Group. Our goal is for everyone, regardless of background or characteristics, to feel empowered and supported so they can be their authentic selves and achieve their full potential.
