Pros

Only some tellers are okay.

Cons

The supervisors are incompetent of their job. If you want a supervisor that will just sit in their office and know how to do nothing, this is your place. Pay is embarrassing, and if you ever need your supervisor to defend you from berating members good luck because that won’t happen. Management believes that it’s never their fault, that morale is so low and thinks it’s everyone on the bottom.

Good Culture, Weird HR Rules

Pros

Great company culture, lots of activities to spend time with people within your department and getting to know people outside of your department. They made working there fun and interactive. The spirit of volunteering and giving back was a great draw to the company.

Cons

HR has really strict and weird rules about dress code, and each department followed it their own way. Also, PTO has to be taken as 2 hour increments, which isn't as flexible if you're just leaving a half hour early for a doctor appointment, etc. Certain individuals in my department were TERRIBLE at their jobs and made everyone miserable. Management did nothing. Pay is not nearly what you should be making for the amount of work you do.

Just 'okay'

Pros

Supervisor was fine, people were friendly at least.

Cons

Tellers are treated as the bottom employee by far. There's a huge turnover rate for tellers and for a good reason. You'll see tellers come and go and anytime there's upper-management decisions it feels like they're only catered to the sections "above" tellers. Oh and you make less than a regular grocery store clerk, retail employee, or walmart greeter.
