      Benefits are good, training is good, feedback is difficult

      Pros

      CG is a unique place to work. The people are smart and they work hard. Training and development are strong.

      Cons

      Unbalanced approach to feedback. Overly critical in the way they evaluate performance. Easy to begin to doubt your ability and skills because of the constant negative feedback. To some degree you need to fit in a very small box to work at CG...not very open to different approaches...a little stepford

      Pros

      I think senior business leaders handled the unfortunate and unavoidable need to respond to the drastic change in the economic environment in a thoughtful, respectful, and planful way. Business need has to drive how the company is managed...or the health of the entire company becomes at risk.

      Cons

      If you're focused on titles and "career advancement," this may not be the place for you. Satisfaction comes from devlopment that is internally driven and externally acknowledged and rewarded with additional opportunities.

      Pros

      Many opportunities to learn new skills. Learned about mutual funds, retirement planning, legals and documentations. They also have wonderful benefits that are pretty flexible with time off. They have a top notch training program and wonderful and comfortable working environment. Your life is not based on call metrics-I spent 30 minutes on the phone once chatting with an older lady. Very relaxed in that way ;)

      Cons

      Micromanagement, Micromanagement, micromanagement!!! When interviewing didn't think it was going to be a call center but it was. I was not pleased with that. The TM's really don't do much-they are hired from outside when Sr SAR should be up for advancement.
