Pros

Great pay and benefits Nice campus

Cons

Performance management practices cause competition vs teamwork HR is useless to help out if you have a horrible manager If you want to keep your job, plan to work after hours and weekends to be able to do more than your peers Reorganizations continually rotate managers and associates in and out of roles so they end up with job assignments on a whim that you may never have been interested in doing or be qualified or trained to do

Pros

Good technologies, Nice office/campus, learning opportunities.

Cons

Performance management is the worst part, where people recognized how much they talk and how good the relationship you have with management. You can talk like, I can create a diamond from the air, and talk it loud and talk the same, though that is not possible in real and you will be recognized. Ineffective game-players can get a better rating than people who work hard and dedicated. And they might put you in coaching plan, if you are in the lower bucket, learn how to make a diamond from the air. And if your manager doesn't like you, because you don't go every day and say good morning, then you are in bad luck. People may smile at you all the time, but they will not hesitate to give bad feedback for the mistake you have not done which might be interpreted as you did it. One of my friend told one day... "here snakes are everywhere", which makes perfect sense. If you want to work in a friendly environment, where people treat each other in (not fake)compassion, this is not the place. You may get some money/benefits, but not worth the quality of time you are spending with your colleague.
