Pros

Nice Co-Workers and a nice parking lot and that's about it.

Cons

Horrible Pay Management Takes advantage Company Delta T - Human Recourse- Since we have a Contract the Contract makes it seem like they will have you only for a 3 month period, but i have been here for 4 years and still considered a temp and can only have 5 sick days a year. Let me say that again we work year around and we get 5 sick days, No Vacation time and all sick days are not paid for. We get under paid by about 8 dollars. The normal rate in Hartford for a CSR is around 16-19 $ Dollars because of the abundance of work we do as CSR's, Five out of the Twelve month a year we work, They call it Mandatory over time and make us work 5am-8pm Everyday and again only 5 sick days, and before the 5 months of overtime they say do not miss a day in this time frame. This Place is a joke people working for 5+ years and they consider them temps because "CREC" Cant afford to pay them a decent so they get around the system with a Temp Contract. But i see supervisors and Managers with Lexus and Mercedes Benz's. This place is just so unbalanced and there is really no way to move up.

Pretty package, no substance.

Pros

Fair pay, good benefits, generally high quality programming. Beautiful schools and smart employees.

Cons

CREC is more interested in packaging than content. Upper management is more interested in employees blindly following directives than in new ideas. No planning or thoughtfulness before actions are taken on a million different initiatives. Totally dysfunctional culture with lots of people with informal authority that outranks their actual titles and responsibility. Two management tracks, one based on favoritism and the other in actual work. Competitive and undermining behavior is encouraged between divisions and individuals.
