Pros

I have worked at Capstone Physical Therapy for 6 years and love my job. The culture and community within Capstone are amazing and the best I've ever had at any job I've worked at. Fun events throughout the year for Capstone staff to get together outside of work. There is a high caliber of therapist that work at capstone who really care about their patients as well as all the support staff. The leadership within the company is wonderful, they really make you feel appreciated for all your hard work. Overall, a great company:)

Pros

Capstone prioritizes one-on-one appointments so I'm never seeing more than one patient at a time. I feel like I have most of the tools I need from an employer to provide the quality of care that I want to provide. Capstone has also been lucky with selecting a good group of clinicians, I respect my coworkers as colleagues and appreciate having them as friends.

Cons

The cons are not unique to Capstone; they're generally what you expect with private outpatient PT. The salary often doesn't seem to adequately reimburse for the emotional, physical, and cognitive load of the hours worked (particularly when accounting for the take-home paperwork, emails, admin tasks).

Pros

Anyone working in healthcare gets into the job because they care about people & Capstone is no different. They truly care for both their patients and their staff. The therapists are provided with incentives to improve their knowledge and skills to provide better treatment to the patients. The culture is fun & welcoming and you can tell that everyone enjoys working with their co-workers. If you care about helping people and want to work at a place with amazing coworkers, Capstone is the place for you!

Cons

Dealing with insurance restrictions for healthcare can be difficult to navigate at times. You will be working with people who are not at 100% health so not always at a great place in their lives, but seeing the end results from therapy always make it well worth it.
