Great company going through typical startup growing pains
Pros
° Great compensation + benefits ° You'll be working with some of the smartest and most polite people in the industry (everyone legit makes an effort to help and support others, which says a lot of the department's culture) ° Because of Carbon's customers and partners, you'll be working on some of the biggest campaigns/launches of your career
Cons
° Everything is a priority, which creates lots of problems and leads to employees being overworked and burnt out ° The company has a flexible time-off policy, but very few employees take time off (partly due to fear of work being piled up) ° Many of the employees within the department are teams-of-ones, so there's not a lot of help or resources when you're doing all the work alone (unless you involve a teammate) ° Department could do a lot more with regards to work-life balance. Many employees are working long hours into the evening and even on the weekends ° There are lots of cooks in the kitchen. Some of the marketing leaders can be micro-managers and not all the employees are empowered to be experts in their field ° No clear-cut growth plans for employees. Many have been at Carbon for a few years and are still doing the same thing without a promotion or additional support
