Pros

Lots of intelligent and interesting coworkers. Fairly good opportunities for growth. Supportive structure for learning and experimenting. Genuinely exciting market opportunity in near future.

Cons

Infrastructure could use some serious love and investment. Extremely tight schedules for chasing quarterly numbers. A technical leadership vacuum for a time.

Pros

Good benefits, rather stable work environment, co-workers are friendly

Cons

Tediously micromanaging overhead, smug attitudes from managers, only focus is on making numbers. Schedules demand mandatory overtime and early arrival. Training for company policy compliance is rushed and does not cover all company policies. Management is not focused, nor effective. Room for career advancement is severely limited. When Carbonite was in need of program developers, they ignored current talent existing within their own workforce. Promotion to management is on an inclusive buddy system.

You have opportunities to test new ideas and strategies. Company is growing quickly and if you add value you can move up.

Cons

A lot of turnover in the senior management team over the past year. Lack of engineers has slowed development process.
