Pros
Love the perks of travel: air miles, hotel points, accommodation of free car rentals and free food. Pay and benefits are great! These aspect definitely keeps me overcoming issues about work. You will do well if you are a proactive worker, needing little supervision, self-learner and know your stuff. Your team makes onsite work away from home bearable.
Cons
When I got hired their hiring process was so easy that they hired many employees who don't know what they're doing as a CRC. It's hard working with people who don't know things because they don't realize how much they don't know. This makes them a liability and creates stressful work environment. On top there's no system in place to weed out people with little knowledge in CRC, so a more thorough training can be provided to them. Company is not proactive but reactive with issues. As a travel CRC there is no work-Life balance. Depending on the study they might expect you to work around the clock especially if you're good at what you do. Those good at their job get even more work and those that suck at their job get minimal work.
