Pros

My team members were great and I enjoyed doing what I was originally hired to do.

Cons

The CEO is more interested in social issues than in running an effective company. His ineptness has trickled down to upper management. The PTO allotment was reduced and job titles were changed in an effort to reduce costs. What it really did was reduce the number of experienced staff, they left or retired. Which I guess was the CEO’s goal. Don’t be fooled. The phrase “and other duties as assigned” is the company’s motto now. People are doing twice the amount of work for less pay. Raises are virtually nonexistent. You have to kill your self to get 3%, if they even go that high.

Stay Far Away

Pros

It's a safe place to work depending on your area. There are some really good people to work with once you weed through the social climbers.

Cons

Terrible pay if you don't come from the outside or brown nose. No career advancement if you're not willing to be a yes-man who acts like everything is rainbows and sunshine. The employee survey results are always tampered with and watered down. Employee concerns are ignored. The entire place has turned into a social club with no soul or morals. Leadership overall lacks a valuable accountability system. Diversity doesn't actually matter. There are so many new people with zero foundational knowledge, which overloads the significantly small number of knowledgeable employees. HR is too busy bullying people instead of doing what needs to be done. Marketing is full of white racists, and the head of the area wastes so much of the company's money on everything but what employees want. Employees are forced to volunteer so the company gets a tax break. Current leadership only cares about their image, not the employees. They spend money on awards and commercials instead of paying their employees a living wage.

Chaos and overwork

Pros

Good focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. I love my team and get to work with some very bright, talented, and smart people.

Cons

Poor leadership and undefined roadmap, leading to regular re-orgs and layoffs. People are leaving at an alarming rate and they are not replacing these people, so the ones who stay are rewarded with more work & stress (and of course that's without additional compensation, not that it would be worth it). I love my job function as a marketing & comms PM. I just can't take the company anymore.
