Finance department is horrible after changing of controller
Pros
The company provides good pay, great benefits, decent PTO to start. The business has a good cause to help underserved people and help them with their medical health.
Cons
Not promote within or at least not for the finance department; there is no performance review/award practice in place to encourage top performers. Finance department went through a restructure after the new controller took place, and since then the work atmosphere has been going south. The new controller likes micro-managing people and doesn't promote work-life-balance. A lot politics to play within the finance department and hard working people don't get promoted/awarded but tossed aside and lied to if you are not the management's friend/liked person. High turnover in the past year, especially a lot managers left basically due to the controller's horrible management style and incapability in leading the department.
