Frustrated and Miserable

Pros

There are some good people. Wearing jeans everyday is cool. and 4 weeks off to start

Cons

Communication is terrible. You can't ask questions because managers would rather treat you like peasants than listen to you. Can't open up to a manager about anything because if you do, you'll be on the blacklist forever. They reward and promote the wrong people and the ones who actually work hard get nothing. Processes change without explanation, ask questions, your a troublemaker. the morale is so far in the dumps. and management doesn't care or listen to you unless your in their clique. they play favorites then expect you not to notice.

Pros

The people are hard working and fantastic! Small group of people makes it easy to get to know everyone on a personal level. Most are very genuine and really like what they do. Supportive environment and friendly/relaxed culture even with all of the work. Frequent fun employee socials. Positive and open relationships both peer to peer and with management. Teamwork focused!! Big emphasis on pulling together as a team/company. Lots of change over the years but for the better, more organized at this point. Supervision is present and strong but not overbearing and/or micromanaging. Flexible and accommodating to personal issues/needs of employees. Fast paced, days go by very quick. Good benefits and nice amount of time off. Clean and neat work environment.

Cons

Very busy. Not a good fit for everyone, especially if you can't keep up and/or don't like working as a team. Limited growth opportunities due to size of company.

Pros

Great mission, nice people, and a fun place to work. The company keeps growing year in and year out, being well positioned in the senior care space. Employees say that the day flies by because we are so busy - which is a good thing - top line compound annual growth over the previous 8 years is about 13%. Considering the tough economic times during this period, CareScout has outpaced its peers.

Cons

Lets face it, typically, only people with negative things to say tend to post opinions on this site; therefore, please consider that CareScout has had more than 200 employees over the course of its existence of more than 18 years. Less than a handful of outdated, negative reviews are on glass door. If you are interested in working with our team, you should come visit us and meet our tremendous people!
