Everyone in the company is so inviting and willing to help in any way they can! I have never worked for a company that truly cares about their employees and shows it in various ways. Carnegie is innovative, fun, creative, and embraces everyone for who they are! Truly an amazing place to work for.

Pros

Truly friendly people who get stuff DONE. New strategic planning initiatives aim to realign all divisions post a season of several acquisitions. All good things, but growing pains. Seems to promote from within often, which is such a stark contrast to the higher ed community that promotes when someone retires or dies.

Cons

Communication between departments is limited and you really need an advocate ie. your manager or seasoned colleague, to help you get plugged in with the right people. I also have the sneaking suspicion that different divisions have drastically different cultures. Like, I wouldn’t touch Digital it with a 10 foot pole.
