Not so great

Pros

Its a remote role and they provide all equipment

Cons

Just completed another round of layoffs..subpar benefits - sick & personal days all lumped into one [who still does that in this day and age], 401K takes forever to vest and no transparency on company performance from management. No Q&A session for employees during all hands meeting. HR is a joke, they missed their own deadline in sending out self review templates and the templates contained typos, they are always late to respond to inquiries.

Corruption and Favoritism in Leadership

Anonymous employee

Pros

Good product Initial founders of company actually care about education and about students

Cons

Leadership team does not know what they are doing and are constantly promoting unqualified people into positions of power. Lack of clear communication and transparency with employees around compensation and promotions. Very clearly biased culture and the people who receive good performance reviews and promotions are those who know how to make management like them and become favorites, despite being completely unqualified or honest.
