Pros

The location in Old Town Alexandria is fun; there are some knowledgeable technical staff.

Cons

Some of the senior staff are stuck in time, arrogant, out of touch with modern business practices, and determined not to learn anything new. There is a lot of wrestling for position and I was made aware of some unsavory practices, such as lay offs of valued staff and hiring of unskilled ass kissers. They don't know how to pursue and keep business with the federal government.

Pros

Some quality products Nice location Overall benefit package a desire to be more progressive

Cons

too many to count. -Pay is average. -Work environment borders on hostile for some people and situations -Constant tension between "camps" -Incompetence is rewarded if you are in the right camp--meaning nepotism and cronies and people who "think" they know what they are doing but don't though having high salaries and being at the top of the food chain so that there "mentoring" or "guidance" creates a chain reaction of wasted opportunities, ill-executed-or not executed performance, just gallons and gallons of bad blood, and they do so arrogantly with complete incompetence. -Company made some terrible market and hiring decisions. -2012-13 has been the year of "black friday" announcements about the happy employees who have left the company. Doublespeak for lay off.
