Pros
Carney is full of great people to work with. Generally, staff work hard with a smile. A positive can-do attitude is the typical work ethic. The work itself was interesting as well.
Cons
The down side is that Carney's leadership is unfocused. Upper, upper management is divided between Carney, Inc. and other projects/adventures. That lack of leadership and focus are felt throughout the company. Management in general has been unable to find a way to replace lost contracts or win the equivalent amount of work. Some in higher management are not only ineffective at leading the organization but they are also crass when talking about clients or partnering vendors. New company-wide initiatives sometimes feel like they are based on an article someone read in a business magazine and are quickly dropped after starting. Benefits are mediocre. People getting laid off is a common occurrence.
