Terribly misogynistic work culture with a real "Men's Club" kind of attitude. Folk are put into a spot where they either need to put themselves in harms way or be yelled at for not meeting the un-realistic production standards set by profit driven suits who never worked and honest day in their lives more oft than not.
They bleed talent here and it's not because 'the work is hard" or "folk just don't want to work" or even "this job is dirty". They bleed talent because they waste money on lavish award ceremonies no one wants to attend because the same 10 folk always "win" and then when they get back from this "vacation" they get yelled at for missing work or get put into a position where they have to spend 90% of their time on work, forcing them to sacrifice their health and wellbeing for the sake of "making the board happy".
And don't get me started on the lack of expedience on maintaining anything that doesn't clearly increase profits or sate the ego of someone in a position they don't really deserve. There are machines here that had been "down for service" for a whole year or machines that are leaking grease and slurry that had to be jury-rigged almost daily so as to not make TOO much of a mess.
If you enjoyed how things were in the 70's and 80's, especially the toilets, industrial machines, and dust, then this is a great place to work but if you like yourself and keeping you sanity I highly suggest looking elsewhere.
