      Pros

      Coworkers, teamwork, close to home, patients, teaching hospital. Good after graduation to get the year experience before moving on to other hospitals and nursing careers.

      Cons

      Nursing management is not in tune with the staff. HR gave pay cuts and tried to sell it as a good thing. Nursing management doesn’t understand the acuity of the patients and doesn’t ask before pulling nurses leading to the loss of good nurses.
