Pros

-Free parking -Decent benefits -people talk to each other, feels like a family

Cons

-Low pay given the hospital location -lack of communication from mgmt -low staffing vs workload -open positions not being filled (services lines are not a priority according to HR) -no respect from mgmt -mgmt cares more about the RNs, but none of the service lines (retention bonuses offered to RN, but not service lines)

Pros

The nurse educator is great. The IMC has a pretty decent group of people working there. Decent PTO, holiday and sick time off package. Friendly towards travelers (not the ED).

Cons

The ED is a tragedy. Supplies are always short. Equipment in bad need of calibrations/repair/replacement. Cafeteria hours are not night friendly. Very clique-y. A lot of turn-around and call-outs.
