Pros

There's almost too much to list! Flexibility, especially during a pandemic. Family comes first and CG has done a great job measuring on the safe side as they truly care what's best for employees and our clients. It's such a fun and creative group of people. Even working remote we all find a way to stay connected. The positive vibes are contagious each day which makes my job even more enjoyable. Other perks of working at CG is the Career Pathing program, competitive pay+bonus, sabbatical leave, parental leave, Orange Awards (employee recognition), a cafe with fresh fruit and a coffee bar, these are just a few... Our CEO is very transparent, he really does a great job with getting to know employees even during the on-boarding process. We have a great leadership team in place and with their help Cartegraph has grown over the last few years. Our future is looking bright and I'm very grateful to be a part of this team! I would recommend CG to my family and friends.

Cons

I can't think of any cons.

Pros

Work you can be proud of- Helping local governments increase productivity and work more effectively and efficiently feels GOOD. Not only is it great to be in a business that helps improves the lives of others, but it's fun! The work is rewarding and far from boring. I am always excited to engage and collaborate with my coworkers. People you enjoy being around- Everyone works together no matter their age, job title, department, years of experience, etc. The employees at Cartegraph are genuinely happy, nice, friendly people. I never walk by someone without receiving a smile or a "Hi, how are you?". Transparency- Whether it’s a product update, new hire joining the team, or an employee’s birthday, everyone at CG knows about it- and that’s a good thing! Having an open and effective communication channel allows everyone within the organization to feel included and valued. Continuous feedback- Receiving advice and recognition from fellow team members and managers/leaders rocks. Not only does getting acknowledged feel good and instill confidence, but it shows that people TRULY care about your efforts. Foosball, snacks, and an unlimited supply of coffee.

Cons

Lack of diversity within leadership roles- Most of the executive team is white, middle-aged men. This makes it difficult for women, people of color, and other minorities to feel valued. When a leadership team lacks diversity, others don’t feel comfortable or confident enough to speak up and voice their opinions or concerns.

We appreciate the time and effort you put into writing such a thoughtful review! Your honest feedback means a lot to us, thank you. Cartegraph believes in fostering a workplace culture that embraces differences at all levels within the company. Diversity in our teams or at the leadership level brings a wealth of knowledge and perspectives that are invaluable for problem solving, innovation, and creativity. We want each team member to feel included, comfortable and welcome in the workplace. We are currently in the process of exploring different diversity and inclusion initiatives to implement throughout the organization. Although our D&I efforts are still in the works, we recognize how important it is to have a diverse culture. If you have anything additional that you’d like to discuss, please reach out to a member of the HR team. Thanks again for your feedback!
