Pros

Carters- - international company - product that has stood the test to time. -well known by customers

Cons

-This store has an ongoing problem with shoplifters! This store's loss stats are not favorable, Store has no security cameras & numerous repeat shoplifters know this! Corporate needs to install a security camera system to protect this store's assets as soon as possible. -lack of store cleanliness at this store often times store management would not order enough supplies i.e. dry mop rolls & paper towels. Also, store would run out of toilet paper & receipt paper repeatedly; needing to purchase at nearby retailers so they would have some until the supply order was received. -employees needed more time to do cleaning; i.e. store's wall shelves & fixtures were very rarely dusted due to lack of time to get this task completed on a regular basis. On any given day, shoppers would find dust on shelves & floor fixtures as well as clothes & hangers laying on tops of floor fixtures as well as on the floor under the floor fixtures throughout the store. Certainly, was not a visually attractive & appealing store to shop at! -high employee & management turnover; i.e. 3 store managers in a 20 month period &; several sales associates that have been w/ store for 6 months or less -low moral & ongoing high level of frustration felt & expressed by several employees over my employment period of 20 months -store manager: -demonstrated lack of concern for employees' health & well being; i.e store manager .told some employees she would come to work ill, so you should have as well because she needed you at work today. -had different standards for employees completing the same task - double standards were in effect at this store! -did not appear sincere & honest sometimes in her communication with some individual employees; this would leave you, the employee, to question what she really thought about you as an employee as well as the concerns you shared with her- her communication with you, the employee, often time promoted a job environment of distrust. -needed to post the weekly schedule no later that Wednesday of every week; i.e. numerous weeks, employee schedule ( for the next week) was not posted for employees to view until Thursday, at the earliest; and usually, Friday of the current week.
