      Pros

      Great people to work with within middle and lower management.

      Cons

      High turnover of employees, little room for advancement, they would rather hire from outside than promote from within, nepotism is very very much evident which can present a difficult work environment with so many family members, parking is absolutely horrible and be prepared to hike to the front door

      Mixed atmosphere at Cascades Tissue

      Pros

      Cascades Tissue has a green and family friendly culture. They have a pretty good profit sharing program in place.

      Cons

      Their facilities are generally older and less efficient than the Canadian facilities. The company has trouble focusing their capital program and they continue to fund the Canadian facilitiies over the US side even though the US growth rate and potential is higher. They are also very slow to react to the market moving to TAD products and that will hurt them in the end.
