Great mission, company, and leadership Clear eye on the market and where the company should play Amazingly smart colleagues and collaboration Impressive culture Unlimited chances for internal exposure to a high level and recognition in public forums

Cons

No strong desire for work/life balance -- abundance of Type A people leads to overwork Unlimited vacation only works if people take it (which they often don't) Compensation is below market, especially when wide variance in R&R is accounted for Unsure if it's a startup or a corporation

Pros

Castlight is really trying to do something impactful in the healthcare technology industry and it feels really inspiring to be a part of it. The people I work with are fantastic and extremely talented. The problems we get to think about are tough and intellectually challenging.

Cons

The lifestyle is not sustainable, the pay is significantly below market and there are very few perks. Not great clear upward career trajectory.

Castlight has friendly, smart co-workers, awesome company values and a fast-paced environment where you are constantly learning and growing. Leadership is open to feedback and meets with employees weekly. You get great benefits, competitive compensation, fun events, learning opportunities (both formal and informal) all in a family-friendly environment. It's a company that lives and breathes it's values: Courage, Transparency, Passion, Excellence and Community!

Cons

Fast growing company that doesn't yet have all the kinks worked out. But if you are up for the challenge of helping create solutions, it's a great opportunity!
