Pros

Minimal day-to-day stress and manageable workload. Exceptional regional leadership that is approachable and responsive. Strong support from direct management. Opportunities to directly impact student learning in meaningful ways. Fulfilling work supporting teachers and improving instructional outcomes.

Cons

Consistently passed over for advancement opportunities, which are often given to external candidates Pay is significantly below industry expectations, even for supervisory roles Raises are difficult to secure and rarely meaningful when granted Hourly pay is lower than the majority of the staff I supervise Concerns about pay discrepancies are dismissed with unsatisfactory explanations (e.g., "teachers work 10 months, you work 12")
