A bit cliquish... but tollerable. A bit conservative on risks, as they pertain to new business ideas and stuff "outside the box". The decision process is it's own enemy...Cbeyond was founded, very similarly on the same values as America- ask for forgiveness before permission. Promotion from within needs to be evaluated a bit more cloesly. It's not always a good idea to allow the person who was promoted by the perosn who was promoted by the person who was promoted, to promote.... there needs to be checks and balances for promotion..not just a title.
There seems to be a bug- a negative bug, within the company, and the bug needs to be squashed. Folks are "just doing their job" when they should be thinking freely. THis was a company founded on entrepreneurialship, afterall!
