Pros

Healthy social environment, good health and retirement benefits, flex work, good amount of PTO, mistakes are treated as learning opportunities

Cons

Disorganized/disrespectful upper management, poor accountability for people managers, disorganized internal resources, low/mediocre pay, low diversity. Depending on the department and manager, DEI and psychological safety initiatives can be all talk with little to no action.

Pros

Great people to work with, really committed to provide a good service, especially editors and editorial staff.

Cons

The micromanagement, lack of clear goals, emphasis on revenue and volume rather than quality, lack of opportunities for career progression and payment increase.
