Pros

There is no stress at this job

Cons

The pay is 100% commission so you think I'm a great sales person so I should make money. Not true there has to be customers coming into the store in order to make money. I have exceeded sales goals at every other establishment I have worked for but this company doesn't pay you for anything but sales. However you are responsible for tech support, customer service and billing issues yet only get paid for sales. I'm worth more than that and feel taken advantage of. Maybe 1 in a hundred people will succeed at this job IF you work 24/7

Pros

Flexible Schedule allows for a great work/ life balance You can find real friends among some employee's Uncapped Commission does allow for HUGE Months

Cons

the "Draw" system is a way to pay your "Hourly" yet the company never spends a dime on it, you pay yourself. There is no Risk to Cellular Sales. Always another "aged" device you have to push onto customers rather than the device they came in wanting or needing, this allows Cellular sales to make a huge profit You have to sell so many New activation's just to keep the money you already earned, otherwise the company gets to keep part of your paycheck for no good reason. No real advancement opportunity. The Slick Talking RD's always make it seem like there is a spot for you to move up to, however, the company is built on the model of one manager for roughly 50 employee's and 5 stores. This keeps the Senior management very small, and they dangle carrots in front of reps to get them to go above and beyond while not being paid for doing so. "Top Reps" get to that spot by doing a few things.. Lying and making everyone look bad to customers, stealing sales from co'workers, and shady sales practices for the most part. Very hard to find a "top rep" who is ethical.

Pros

Uncapped commissions, flexible schedule. Honestly can't think of that many pros for this company. Some people do really well most don't.

Cons

Company charges missing accessories and phones off your paycheck. Commissions don't always add up on paychecks. No HR department. Terrible benefits. No PTO. Limited potential to move up. Your check is depended on retail traffic. Rich get richer, poor get poorer company structure. Quality of work is not rewarded just quantity which results in a lot of shady business from reps. It is encouraged to say anything to get a sale. Poor morales and business ethics. Zero support from back office when an issues needs to be fixed.
