Pros

-In depth training taking place in a hotel in a nice location -Uncapped sales commissions

Cons

-Commission only compensation, and the quality of store locations vary immensely. My location was next to a library and a daycare center, so we saw close to zero foot traffic. -Sales strategies are manipulative to customers, especially when your sales are low (which has a lot to do with the location they pick). They do not encourage lying or anything outright unethical, but in my opinion it was trying to toe the line closely. -The company's financial model is set up to sell unpopular and old devices so that the margins are much better. This incentivizes every in the company to push old and less reliable phones to the customers. -Company culture favors white men (as do the customers in many cases)

Pros

Bonus were nice but not worth all the extra headache and lies - I can't give any stars for management- I gave 1 star only because I was a hard worker and made decent commission... However they took from my commissions that I worked so hard to get!!!!! If you have no family or friends and can deal with liars and terrible management maybe this would work for you!

Cons

Conference calls constantly, meetings 7am- never a day off- cold calls to previous customers (which they assured me that we didn't do) long term employees taking advantage of new employees, training was all about the trainer getting that EXTRA bonus while you do their work.... Honestly the owners need to go back into the field and see that not every person who walks in the store wants to purchase "older" product which is where commission comes from... Human resources lady was rude, when emailing the office for questions they never replied unless you were doing something wrong.... I wouldn't wish this job on anyone who is ambitious hard working... The other employees took 2-4 hour lunches but expected the ones sitting there to call them if someone came in and mentioned their name bc it was supposedly their customer- the employees are greedy and selfish and only out for themselves which in turn from hearing from the customers themselves that there is never the same employees bc they can't keep employees. They need to really focus on being professional - thankful I handed my keys back and quit on the spot - I will never shop through cellular sales they will do and say anything to convince customers this is the best deal when in fact corporate stores are $100 less per phone.... The atmosphere was stressful and the management couldn't make time to help out new employees... I'd love nothing more than to see cellular sales close the doors permanently! Rome NY worst store out there!!!!

Pros

No micromanaging, which was refreshing. High level of responsibility, potential for great earnings and you learn how to become a shark in sales.

Cons

If you have morals or ethical, this is not for you. It's a cutthroat business, 100% commision breeds some unsavory characters.
