Pros

Uncapped commission. You can work as much as you want. Or just work 30 hours a week and still make good money. Crazy bonuses and perks, good benefits, and amazing opportunities to grow your career.

Cons

You have to put in the work up front to see results. This is it a job where success finds you, you have to find the success. Watch sales seminars, read books, ask questions of the successful reps. You can get a hefty amount of chargbacks which can be irritating. However the amount is determined by how much one sells. Usually it's not enough to make very much of a difference.

Pros

Flexibility of your schedule. You can make decent money, even great money, yes…

Cons

…after using sales tactics that would make a normal company tilt their head. Raleigh, NC market was highly toxic. Phones stolen out of safes, favoritism towards highly unqualified leaders, fraud in stranger’s accounts. These actions should be punished and yet are ignored if numbers are high. How is that okay? Oh, the level of turnover was incredible. Fired employee after another, people quitting endlessly, yet no exit interview or any form of chance to explain themselves or get feedback. It’s just a quick, “You’re out sorry”. Change would be too much for these individuals. Even worse when the regional manager is just scared of the state leaders and fire an employee because they don’t want to defend their own local employees. It’s all quite a pathetic thing. Raleigh staff members, there are so many positions out there right now with credible, legitimate career based jobs. Cellular Sales is a thing of the past.

Pros

Uncapped commission, flexible schedule making. If you keep your head down and stay motivated you can easily make $60k-100k annually, however most reps only make around $45k-55 realistically. You have the ability to conduct your own business and build a client base to follow up and stay consistent with. The benefits are decent and the bonus structure is good

Cons

Extremely poor leadership and training program. Commission and bonus structure changes 1-2 times a year. Not an ideal workplace for anyone with kids, being that you are required to work multiple locations and travel up to an hour away for a 6-8 shift, sometimes 90 minutes with traffic. They recently implemented cold calling without any training or transcripts. Management is not experienced and the culture is HIGHLY toxic. People are constantly stealing sales and store inventory..they hire anyone fresh out of high school and the stores are run by idiots. The NY & New England area is the worst. Takes about 4-6 months to actually receive a commissions check..This coming stresses the importance of “family” and “culture” in order to get you to commit to working more and bleeding yourself dry without any rewards. You’ll often take on more responsibility without additional pay. DO NOT WORK HERE!!!
