Pros

the training is very good and thorough they did a good job at getting the reps excited to hit the sales floor and start raking in the big bucks many reps make a decent living and are able to provide for their families

Cons

However once you get out of training and get your dealer code you will realize that most of the things they said were just smoke and mirrors. Their commission structure is made to be impossible to understand on purpose to keep you from realizing they are taking money from you. You really know its bad when other reps openly talk about updating their resume and looking for new jobs during the very slow periods. Many times you have a customer come in that just has a tech support issue that takes hours to fix (which you do not get paid for but your expected to handle no questions asked) Bill pays are the same thing usually a customer will come in for the sole purpose of paying their bill (also something you dont get paid to assist with but are pretty much forced to) Many of the customers are extremely rude and take out their financial frustration on the reps.

Pros

No micromanagement,No micromanagement That's all I have for pros bc there aren't many. The other pro I guess would be you don't have to do tech work if you don't want to.

Cons

Horrible pay structure. Company has you on a draw system. Your hourly pay is drawn out of your commission check. Verizon pays cellular sales 2 months behind in commission so when you start with the company your draw checks put you way in the hole. So that means you won't climb out of that hole for a while. You won't start receiving commission checks until your 5th or 6th month unless your first two months on the sales floor is above $5,000 which is rare. If inventory goes missing they charge the reps that were working that day. Also there is very little management or oversight so reps end up ripping customers off or doing unethical business. Pay was absolutely horrible! Also you can not request days off, they just make the schedule and if you want that day off you have to beg people to take that shift. There are no part time employees to pick up shifts so normally no one takes your shift and you are penalized for not getting it covered. I worked for corporate Verizon wireless and it was a million times better in so many ways. Also on top of all that you have to work a different store every day and they do not pay for your gas.

Pros

Hustling and making your pay check. You can seriously make a decent salary less the deduction that the company takes from your commission checks. You create your own schedule and pick shifts whenever you want to work extra hours.

Cons

They will make money out of you when stuff get lost in the stores. Whether it was back office error or just an ill intentioned colleague. You will be charged full price for phones & accessories. While interviewing, they will sell 4-5K a month but only 5 out of 15 reach that goal. Huge turn over cos of the politics. Non performers are kept and new strugglers laid off. They hire and fire almost monthly, why? because they make money out of your sales and Verizon's incentives.Either way they are always OK. Advise, come learn and move somewhere else with the acquired experience.
