Pros

Ability to make your own schedule (not so much anymore)

Cons

Recruiting currently sent out an email asking their leaders and mentors to give 5 star reviews because current jobseekers won't come in for interviews after seeing glassdoor reviews Management is awful, reacts are absurd (you lose 5-6 times more money than you made on the phone you sold. Yes you can make $10.00 on a phone but have $60.00 taken from your paycheck.. It happens every month), commissions have been drastically lowered since my time being here. If someone walks into the store and steals an item, YOU get charged the full retail cost out of your paycheck. Your "bosses" that do the same job you do get an extra $2,000/month added to their check to keep you in line. You literally have no voice and are reprimanded if you speak out.

Pros

You can make lots of money in the busy seasons, especially if you are at the right store(s). Contests and rewards are nice. The biggest incentive is the discount on Verizon service. Great people are attracted to this position. If you like getting dressed up everyday, you'll love it here.

Cons

I can only speak for my market... where we are not making $50k annually, more like half of that. In IL, management will marginalize you if you are looking for advancement so you're best off playing your position and hoping that your fit what they are looking for. As a sales rep, you are left in the dark about many metrics and reports that are part of your success. The commission structure is VERY misleading, as it's pitched to you as a great opportunity for 100% commission. The truth about the commission is that there's a high rate of charge-backs against what you actually earn, and it takes 60 days to see any of that commission.

Pros

Flexible schedule. Easy for for the most part.

Cons

The statement on their page says 40-60k a year that is a big lie about 1% of reps make that. You’ll have to work 5 shifts a week just to barely make 2k a month. There is no base pay another lie it’s a draw so if u make 2k in comms and worked 30-40 hrs a week ab 1500-1600$ hrly your comm check is gonna be about 400 minus everything they take out for their greedy selves. Traffic is horrible. And the system will glitch and not attach the loan to the line and guess what they take it out of your commission same thing with fraud (full retail cost of the phone even thought they claim it on insurance they still charge u to make a profit) which I’m sure is probably illegal even though it’s not ur fault at all it’s a pretty common thing, also take accessories and any other reason they can think of to stiff ur comms. Only reason I’ve been here for the time I have is the schedule is flexible for the most part other wise I would have quit long ago. Wack pointless 7am meetings and online trainings unpaid for and could totally be done over phone except they wanna waste more of your time and money. I would only take this if u need a on ASAP other wise you can do better they hire literally anyone most folks don’t make it 6mo.
