      Pros

      CenCal Health is an incredible place to work. Working at CenCal gives you the opportunity to contribute to a mission that truly serves the local community. In addition, the compensation is very fair, and the benefits and flexibility are great.

      Cons

      There is a low turnover of staff, which for the most part is a pro, but also makes opportunity for career advancement more limited.

      Great at what it does but internally disorganized

      Pros

      The company truly cares about the community that it serves, which is the poor communities in two counties. Those in authority will bend over backward to make sure that its members receive the medical attention that they need.

      Cons

      Lack of communication is a serious issue. For a small company (150 employees) there is far too much bureaucracy. Management wants to promote the company's image to the outside community but apathy is a serious problem when employees attempt to get co-workers involved with supporting other local non-profits.
