Pros

Young company full of young, generally motivated people (yes - as the reviewer said they are mostly white and privately educated, but that's a criticism that could be levied on most companies). As it's a young company there is a degree of capacity to set your own course and work. Rewards are reasonably predictable - company values loyalty and if you stay on and work reasonably well you should expect steady rewards in terms of promotions and pay. Certain departments (journalism, marketing, events) offer a lot of overseas travel opportunities.

Cons

Starting salary shockingly low especially for departments that require a masters degree. Company is quite disjointed - not that much interaction between departments, and not - in my experience - much energy or direction within the teams and the company as a whole. Maybe because it's a young company people view it as a 'stop gap' Senior management have tended to be rigid in their views and make decisions that seem wilfully obscure and out of touch. There is very little flexible working. If you work over the weekend (often required when travelling overseas) you do not get time in lieu. Considering the holiday allowance is a measly 20 days per year and the pay is so low I think this is particularly harsh.
